Author’s Part

Richard Hastings has been working in public and private schools for the last 27 years in various capacities including teacher, curriculum developer, supervisor of residential life,  and school administrator.   He has worked with children and adults from nearly every age group from severely multiply-handicapped to gifted students.   During the 8 years he lived with adolescents in a residential school he had the habit of listening to 5 or 6 dreams everyday from students and staff which allowed him to hear over 5000 dreams.  It was during this time that he developed his own methodology for interpreting and finding solutions to dreams, but also came to understand that the dreams that we are all having are helping us to move toward world peace.   He has written many articles and done extensive curriculum work in the area of encouragement, transformation, conflict resolution, and understanding the messages in myths.     He was trained in a holistic model of education known as the Anisa Model which views human beings as having unlimited potential.  He also has done training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and in a spiritually based leadership program from Bolivia called Moral Leadership.   Richard is an active member of the Bahá’í Faith which believes in the essential unity of all religions and whose primary mission in the world today is to establish the unity of mankind through the process of transformation.
